"Old Pawray"
Frank Howel Evans
Preface by Magaret Osoba
Introduction by Bob Adey

This oddly titled book is subtitled "The London Adventures of Jules Poiret, late of the French Secret Service." Monsieur Poiret is now in retirement in London where he has the ear of Scotland Yard. Did his name if not his feats of deduction influence Agatha Christie's celebrated Belgian detective Monsieur Poirot? "Old Pawray" consists of a series of stories written by the English storyteller Howel Evans (1867-1932).

They are collected here for the first time. Illustrations from the original magazine appearances.
