Terry
James Hilton
Introduced by Kurt Kausler
The stylish sketch from the dust-cover of the first U.K. edition of Terry
(1927) is reproduced along with the original text of this romance. Lost Horizon
may Hilton's masterpiece, but he wrote other fine novels like Terry, his sixth,
an autobiographical work about a man who wishes to live a moral life in society.
Written in the first-person, it has been judged a "seminal book" as well as an
intriguing one. There is a foreword by Kurt Kausler and a useful glossary and
reference by Adrienne Reynolds.
Trade paperback, illustrated, colour cover. 230
pp.
